What is the Curriculum?

This curriculum contains courses that have encompassed a mix of technical skills, strategic knowledge and local and global industry insight which are crucial for success in the digital landscape.

  • On completion of this course, you will be able to understand the fundamentals that are required to create social media content that captivates, connects and communicates in a compelling and memorable way. You will understand basic storytelling principles to drive engagement and resonate with people online. It will also break down complex ideas and messages into simple narratives. And lastly it will enable you to make a global impact by using storytelling to transcend borders and break cultural and linguistic barrier

  • On completion of this course, you will be able to understand basic brand principles which are required to build a unique and hard to replicate identity in an extremely cluttered digital space. This course will touch on personal branding , brand identity and brand loyalty and guide you in building and arriving at clear differentiation and brand value online.

  • This course empowers digital content creators and is one of the key things African creators need to know. On completion, you will be able to protect your work, make informed decisions about collaborations, monetise effectively, and navigate the digital landscape responsibly. Who is Eligible?

This course is open to all however to effectively benefit from it one might need to have some specific skills.

Proficiency in basic digital skills, such as using computers, internet browsers, and common software tools.

  • Should be 18 years and above and legally of age to enter the African labor market

  • Demonstrating a genuine interest or passion in the subject matter is a plus

  • Currently all courses are taught in English, so basic understanding of the English language will be ideal.
